Stewards of the Watershed

Teachers choose a field location from over fifty sites in Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne counties. A three-hour field trip includes hands-on lessons and a service learning component. Field trips run from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, but start and end times are flexible to meet your scheduling needs.

Ranger-Led Environmental Education Program (RLEEP) and Educational Lands Access (ELA)

Stewardship Through Education, partnering with East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), conduct the RLEEP and ELA Programs for upcountry (Mokelumne Area) youth.  This program promotes understanding and protection of watershed lands through a series of classroom lessons and field trips.
